I am a teacher in Texas. I am a long time vegetarian, since 1990. I am enjoying the journey to better health. I have started taking blood pressure medicine this past year. I am only 34! I would love to get off the medication, through healthy living. I hate to exercise, so that is my next challenge. I am currently learning to cook. I am enjoying my calorie counter app. This makes dieting easy. In the past I have counted calories to great success. Five years ago I lost about 80 lbs. I had peaked at 270 while going through a divorce. Yikes! I lost the majority of that weight using an Excel spreadsheet. It was so time consuming. I found myself eating the same thing over and over again, mostly because I had already figured out the nutritional content of items. This website allows me to tally counts while I create a meal. I have slowly started gaining back weight over the last 5 years. It is time to get real again, It is so cool! I love the website and app!
