Fasting - Have you done it & what happened?
I do a daily 16/8 or very often 17/7. It has a nice regulating effect on my entire gastrointestinal system. Combined with limiting calories and drinking more water, it's working well for me.

Anyone doing 5:2
I don't understand what 5:2 -- oh I think I just got it. 5 days to diet, 2 days to fast. Well, that certainly takes discipline. I used to do a juice fast 10 days a month, with not great results. Presently, I do a daily intermittent fast (IF) of at least 16-hr. digestion with 8-hr. diet. It's getting so much easier now 7 weeks into it. Working my way to 18/6, I am often getting by on 17/7. Results have been mostly good, weight-wise, but a couple other things have happened for the good. One is a subsiding of the reflux I would often get at night and I'd have to take tablets, or if it was really bad, bicarbonate of soda. The other thing is I no longer get the pains in my side after a meal, for which my doctor said was caused by fatty liver. All in all, the IF on a daily basis is working well for me.

what kind of reward do you people do
But to your title question: a nice reward, worthy of your beautiful self and hard effort to lose 10 pounds would be a new shirt to go with the new you!

what kind of reward do you people do
There is already a name for that. A lot of people practice it with the results you should expect. It's called yo-yo dieting.
