I am 49 years old. Married with one grown daughter. I quit smoking 3 years ago and also had a hysterectomy which compounded, resulted in a weight gain of 20 pounds. I work 45 - 50 hours / week. My time is precious and I like to spend it with my husband of 1 year fishing or doing watercolor painting. I love dogs and have 4 of them. I do my workouts either at home or at the gym but spend less than 45 minutes on any one workout primarily because what little time I do have, I don't want to spend it working out. My diet is simple, < 1200 calories/day, cutting out as much of the refined sugars as possible, with an allowance of some oopses.

I Cant stay motivated!!!!
I have a 20 minute DVD. It is all the time I could stomach but it works you out pretty hard for 20 minutes. Then I started getting bored. So I bought Zumba. I will give that a try. I LOVE the dog idea. But I love dogs. Motivation is tough. Still working on it too but looking forward to the Zumba dvd or a reward after loosing 5 pounds or feeling my pants get baggy helps.

Sometimes you just fall off the wagon
Hang in there Tbear! It is HARD. I posted a picture of what I want to look like on pinterest. I keep that photo in mind when I need that extra kick in the but. Everyday is a new day to make a decision to be healthy.
