I will be 50 June 4th and I am 209 pounds, it seems as though I never saw this coming. I quit smoking 3 yrs. ago but I like to say 50 pounds ago. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which makes it very difficult to exercise. So I have tried eating much better which worked for awhile I lost 7 pounds and then my hormones kicked in and I gave in to ALL my cravings. I felt I needed something a bit structured, so I bought the fat smash diet book. I will officially start Monday. I am taking this weekend to prepare. I really hope I can stick with it, I seem to have trouble seeing it through. The last of my children will be leaving home and off to college in July I am so afraid I will use this as yet another reason to eat. And she won't be here to stay on me, so I really want to get this under my belt a bit.
