Sleeping aids when mind just can't stop working
Yoga before bedtime is a huge help for me! Or reading. My doctor suggests no screen time for at least an hour before you plan on falling asleep.
Melatonin is a natural sleep aid that can be used safely pretty regularly. Medical Marijuana if it's legal in your state is another natural remedy.

Do you hate vegetables as much as I hate vegetables?
I love vegetables and so does one of my children. My other child hates almost everything, even potatoes. Recently he has been eating brussel sprouts if I cook them in olive oil and garlic. He will also eat raw veggies with dip or peanut butter.

Wine and weight loss
Finally, someone who understands my struggle!
When I am trying to lose weight I will cut out wine on a regular basis and I will only have 1-2 glasses a week. Usually I make sure that I exercised that day and that wine is my reward. I did the 21 day fix and I was fine with no wine during that time. I think if you make a goal and stick to it then it won't be so torturous.

Food Obsession
I completely agree. My parents fed me horrible food growing up that I formed an unhealthy relationship with food from a young age. I didn't see any problems with the food I ate until I hit college and realized how horrible my diet was. I gained a bunch of weight and I would obsessively count calories and binge eat fat-free food. I met with a nutritionist who explained why my eating habits were terrible and I have been doing better gradually. I have to remind myself that it's okay to eat the dessert every once in a while!
