I'm a single, professional woman. No kids, not quite ready for them right now. I live in CT and I have 200 lbs to lose. Have tried to lose many times in the past with limited success. The main cause of failure was life circumstances which kept me from sticking with my diet and exercise plan. I believe firmly in weight training as that is the quickest way to see a difference in how how your clothes fit. I also do cardio, but I have to build up to it since it's been so long since I was in the gym. I like working out on the elliptical; for me the treadmill is boring. I feel like I will actually reach my goal this time. The biggest challenge for me will be to not get discouraged with slow progress. It will probably take me 2 years to reach 130 lbs, but time does go by quickly, so I just need to make sure I stay the course. I want to weigh in only once per week, but sometimes I get anxious and curiosity gets the best of me. This is a bad habit that can sabotage any program. On with the task at hand...
