Hi kmf. It a vicious circle isn't it. Eat, gain weight, get depressed, eat. AAAh. I have discovered as I have got older that certain types of carbs can really bring me down after I eat them, quick high and then very long low. When I stay away from them I feel very good. However it is very hard to give up, likely permanently, those things that taste so good. I have found though that the quick high is not worth the feeling later so I am now trying to find great tasting alternative. What I am saying is that you find what works for you and be prepared to make it a for life change. You will feel so much better and so proud of yourself. You just have to try every day. Once yesterday is behind you, only you can let it affect you in a negative way. So be good to yourself ok and try. Take care. Lin
