i want to stay on this healthy eating forever
I gave up processed food 2 years ago & haven't looked back. I think over time, it has gotten easier for me not to want them either. I may think at first "oh, that looks good," but then I remember how bad they are for me.

the weight loss has been wonderful, but secondary benefits are also great, like no more acid reflux, the awful dermatitis I had on my hands is gone, & my sense of smell is better. I think all the chemicals in processed food poisons us. the food is so highly processed that it takes out all the nutrients, so they have to "enrich" the food with chemicals you can't pronounce. not good.

know that you're doing good things for your body by eating healthier & use that for your motivation.

good luck! you can do this!

Atkins Diet phase 1
you might want to hold off on the Atkins bars & shakes until you get to phase 2 & then only 1 a day. if you want something sweet, try a piece of sugar-free gum. my favorite is Extra Watermelon. not too much gum, though. I found out that too much can cause a stall.

have you signed up for the Atkins site? they have lots of information there. when I signed up a couple of years ago, they sent me 3 Atkins bars & a couple great booklets.

I get fresh when they're in season. otherwise, I get the frozen, whole ones without any sugar (just berries). I usually just put some stevia on them or you can whip up some cream with a bit of stevia.

Ephesians 6
this isn't the place to proselytize or insult others when they don't agree.

I'm sure if you search Groups, you would find one that shares your "views" & you can spout your scripture there.

hugs milky! life tends to throw us curve balls when we're the most vulnerable. as sufferer of clinical depression, I know sometimes giving into the tears can be a catharsis. when you're through, blow your nose & wash your face with cool water. if you can, take a walk outside, breathe the fresh air, & listen to to birds. it helps.

as a fellow shy person, it can be hard to find our inner strength. but it's there. you can do this! we all can! Smile
