performance: losing 1.8 lb a week
Never been that big, but in the past 10 months I am gradually getting larger. For the first time I ma now in the "Fat" category.
Quit smoking on August 1st 2011. Obviously this made a slight weight increase, but by quitting, this unmasked an underactive thyroid that the smoking was keeping at bay. Discovered the underactive thyroid a the beginning of 2012. Tried diet and exercise but is seeming to have no effect. Started taking meds but could take a while to kick in and get the right level.
It is getting quite frustrating dieting and exercising 3-4 times a week and seeing nothing in return. Need to keep on track.
Any advice would be much appreciated of anyone else who may be in a similar siruation.
