performance: losing 2.5 lb a week
I started doing FatSecret after a friend turned me on to calorie counting on Everyday Health. Although the site was neat, FatSecret blows it away. The major selling point for me was the fact that my Android has the app that links in with the site and I can pretty much barcode scan anything I eat.
I started at 130lb wanting to feel and look better in my clothes. I didn't particularly think I was overweight but I did feel that for my height, I was borderline. Starting this out has made me and my bf so much more conscious of what we actually consume, nutrionally. We've diminished our drinking. Not that we were lushes or anything close to it but we both did enjoy a cold beer/glass of wine quite regularly. We would love going out to eat and eating anything and everything our taste buds desired with little to no regard to the nutrional aspect of the meal. Now, all around, we seem aware and genuinly active about our health, not just for the weight loss alone but for a more healthy lifestyle. We've slowly incorporated regular exercise into our daily routines and feel a huge difference already. The energy alone is a huge motivator. This is one of the best things I have done. I constantly recommend it to others with a passion I wish I could drive in to them.
I am hoping by June, I will be at my goal weight of 110 so I can enjoy a summer in slim pretty dresses and tight skinny jeans with tops that will accentuate my slim and fit figure. It will feel great!
