Hi everyone, I am a lifetime member here.

About me: I sit at a desk for 13-16 hours a day. My only exercise is walking to and from my car as I drive between places to sit. It wasn't always this way. I was up to working out 3 hours a day 6 days a week but my appetite was out of control.

I quit drinking (Jan 1, 2016) and now I am here to tackle my binge eating problem.

My goals are to eat under 20g carbs a day, eat more fat than protein, keep my daily calories under 1600 and to finally get out of the obese range into the heavy over weight range of the almighty BMI!

Starting new and fresh January 1st 2017 - so far it has taken me all month to figure out what I am doing exactly with Keto and IF (Intermittent Fasting) 16:8

Baby steps Heather. Set small reachable goals (like logging your food daily) and go from there. You can do this.

How long for sugar to leave the body
*Jaw-Drops* I admit - I am cholesterol dumb. My provider has me taking Cholesterol lowering drugs because my labs said mine are off the charts bad. BUT my numbers have improved, I thought because of my new healthy lifestyle changes, but my provider told me it was because of the medication.... Grrrrr... I don't know who to believe or trust. So I must research the heck out of this and come to my own conclusions. I appreciate the links. They are a great start. I feel sorry for above mentioned ducks. I am assuming NOT to order the "Foie Gras" ???
