EXERCISE QUESTION
Why not try investing in a heart rate monitor? I wear a polar watch A300 and a HRM when I go to the gym. I like you do an hour on the bike every visit before my light weights. Calories burnt vary from 400 to 510 dependant on how hard I work. I know this is based on my height,weight and HR so it's pretty accurate. The bike reading at the gym of calories burnt is normally 15-20% under the reality. I personally find it really motivating when I can see how many 'real' calories I'm burning off.
Today was 612 cals in total and Wednesdays was 721......my legs were tired today!
