I have been sick and still not feeling real well. My daughter went from sore throat to strep throat overnight. What fun!

My very dear friend went into the hospital with a heart attack on Saturday. I went to see her yesterday. She seemed to respond when I sang to her. I am very upset and sad, but I have done very good. I have not binged on chocolate to console myself. I have continued to control my intake. I have to remember that she is where she is because she did not control her food intake and ate the wrong things. I have to get this off and get into shape. She is a constant reminder of why I am doing this. I can't become like her, as much as I love her.

I think my body might not like candy. I am not feeling very well today. I know that I slept wrong, so that worked on me, but I also feel like I am trying to come down with something. My neck hurts and my throat feels funny.
