My name is Jennifer and I am a mother of 3 and a wife of the the biggest kid of them all ;o). I know that my weight says that I am starting off at 270, but that is what I am starting with as of the date that I signed up on this site. Jan.1st of 2013 I weighed in at 296 lbs and that did it for me. The same day I bought my husband a glucose monitor because he is diabetic but has never checked his sugar levels. Well, his sugar level was 496 and he should have been in the hospital. I vowed to change our life though food and found the Atkins diet to be what we needed. Here it is Feb. now and I am proud to say that I am down 30 lbs and my hubands blood sugar now averages 130 without medication.
