I am a 52 year old woman who has been on and off diets since I was 16. I live in Racine, WI. I am divorced with two grown children who live on their own and one 2 year old grandson. I have type 2 Diabetes but have it under control with pills. My goal is to be off the medicine by summer 2014 Starting Medical Weighloss & Wellness center program Oct 24th 2013. The program is based on low carb low fat but most importantly serving size. I am a Property Manager for 158 units of section 8 housing. My office is in a building with 96 units of senior citizens and disabled so I do have a stressful job and it is there that I over eat so I have told the residents not to bake me anymore goodies LOL. Update 06/27/14 officially off blood pressure medicine and diabetes pills cut in half.

2014 is the year I....
I plan to be down 100lbs by my 52nd birthday and be off my diabetes and blood pressure medicine. So far I have lost 40lbs since Oct 21st.

starting program again. I took off from low carb eating for the last 3 months and although it was nice to eat the foods I like. I felt like crap.
