I am currently a stay-at-home mom (okay, dog-caretaker) transitioning between being a university graduate and finding work in my field of study (and likely getting frustrated with that and going on to grad school!). I'm an active person who spends at least two hours power-walking/running (canicross) with my dog each day, and plenty of busy-body work elsewise!
I am here because I (please don't laugh) stuffed myself full of food over the past two years as a final attempt to enhance my "assets." I couldn't breach 135lbs, and after failing in the main purpose, decided to go back to my previous weight. So here I am! After I reach a lower body fat percentage, I'm going to work on building muscle. Because I don't multitask, one thing at a time...

My husband has a super metabolism, the kind of stomach that simply crunches food matter into a black hole so he can eat another full meal in an hour, and has an insatiable sweet tooth, so this may be a little tough. ;)

Can't let those jeans go?

I have my "one size too small" wedding dress that I need to fit into by 12/12/12... That's a very good motivation Smile

Haha, that's great! I'm making mine but using a one-size-too-small corset as a base for the dress, so I think we're in roughly equivalent boats! c:

Does anybody else hate shopping for pants/jeans?
Ugh, I hate it too. I have big hips, moderate butt, and small thighs, which usually means I can only fit one of those three properly. My complaint is not really weight related, although I've torn into sales people twice for making rude comments to heavier ladies in jeans. Either way, I think the discussion points to jeans being made for average height skinny people with no hips (no offense to those who are!), leaving every other possible body type frustrated and sometimes insulted.

I wear tights now, not jeans. Very Happy

How to stay full throughout the day
I eat one meal/day and very rarely have a snack, but come 4 in the evening (we eat at 6:30 - 7:00 as per husband's work), sometimes I get a bit grumbly. I do coffee/tea first (if waiting 10 minutes doesn't do it), and if that still doesn't do it, I either eat a fruit (apples are great) or have a vegetable (celery or carrot most often) with home-made hummus. The latter is when I'm getting really hungry, the little bit of hummus is quite filling and very tasty and good for you.

Edit: I don't really get sweet cravings, so I can't really suggest anything for the snacking sweet tooth.
