I was not doing as good on the South Beach Diet so I switched over to another diet. The Flat Belly Diet. I am now at 172 lbs!!!
I suggest that anyone serious about loosing weight and loosing that belly check into this diet!

I seem to be stuck at my current weight and this would usually upset me but.....My blood pressure has went down so much that I have not taken medication now for 4 days. This morning it was 128/64 and that is a steady drop for the last 4 days. I take it 3 to 4 times a day. My doctor had just suggested that I increase my medication after I had told him that I had stopped taking my water pill with my regular blood pressure medication.
Has anyone else had this to happen while on the South Beach or Atkins diet?

I decided to keep a food diary and tried to put my breakfast items down on my diet calendar. LOL. I ate 4 thin strips of bacon but that was not an option. My strips came to 70 calories, according to the package. It is this bacon that sits on the shelf not in the ref. until you open it. So my calories for breakfast were actually 390, not 600+.
I am on the South Beach Diet but am also doing a little of the Atkins. Not so worried about calories and mostly worried about carbs. I am having a hard time getting my appitite under control and that is really bothering me.
It is really great to have a site such as this one. It is giving me motivation and I really need that at this point.
Wishing everyone a great day. The sun is out and the humidity is low here in Southern Indiana today. I am getting ready to can tomatoes from our garden then I am going to finish a book. It is back to work tomorrow.

It has been several months since I have been back to this site. Several months that I fell off my diet and am ashamed to admit I got up to 195lbs. Today I am 188lbs as I started back on the South Beach Diet about 11 days ago. It is good to be back.
