I have been challenged with weight issues since I quit drinking, smoking and going out dancing, which is about 28 years now. I have overcome many things since that time and due to some injuries, and side effects from medication along with some bad habits that I use to be able to get away with the pounds came on.

It is amazing to me that you can gain 30 lb. in one month on steroids that the Doctor gives you for injuries, and bells palsy, but it takes months to take it off. It also is amazing to me that the med they give you for diabetes cause you to gain weight and they tell you to lose weight. So, here I am taking it one day at a time. I really quit dieting and just try to eat healthy now and I have lost 35 lb. in the past year.
I have 98 to go to my goal.

WoW when I wrote that I had no idea that DR DUKAN WAS GOING TO CHANGE MY LIFE FOREVER! I am now 22 pounds from my true weight! I have lost 56.4 pounds in 6.5 months. I started a support group called crusin2losin on the dukan hwy.

I also am working on my M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling which prompts me to continue to work on me.
I have gone from a size 26 to a 16 which is now becoming to loose and will soon in a 14.

Life is good!
