Just a few newbie questions
Hi everyone,

I am pretty new to the site (and to this whole "diet" thing). Can someone please point me in the direction of a source that will help me identify how many protein/carbs/fat/sodium etc. that I need to consume, in order to lose weight? I like being able to keep track, but it's useless if I don't know what my goal amounts should be.
At this point, I am mostly concerned about carbs, but would love to know the other stuff too.

I am also wondering about my RDI, the site says in order to lose weight, I need to eat 1,800 calories. That just seems like so much!

If it is needed: I am 25, I am 5'3 and I weigh 155 lbs. My goal weight is 125-130.

Thanks for the help, I tried to search the Internet for these questions and it's kind of "information overload". I just need someone to "dumb it down" for me! Very Happy
