I've been a Weight Watchers member for the past year and have lost 45 lbs so far. I've decided to diet on my own to cut back on expenses. I'm a little nervous leaving Weight Watchers but fairly confident I can do this. I've been exercising regularly for several years and feel that is has become a solid habit for me. Still working on the eating habits. I would like to lose 45 more. Once I reach that goal, decide how I feel and possibly work on the last 20 lbs to reach my ultimate goal. i"m OK with taking it off slow as long as I see the steady loss. I hate plateaus!

Thanksgiving is not a day to be dreaded.
I like the way you think! That helps remove some of my guilt. I'm just worried maybe I take too many days off sometimes LOL

recommended daily intakes
i'm no expert, but I'm constantly working on these numbers to see what works best for me. I think everybody has their own numbers. I find it works best to keep a good balance between fat, carbs and protein. I try to really keep the sugar out, which naturally keeps my carbs down. Fat is not your enemy, healthy fat is actually good for your body. As far as sodium, i just stay away from frozen, fast or processed foods and my sodium is in check. A big concern of mine is losing belly fat, which all of this seems to help. I've lost 55 lbs.

Had a moment
I've come to realize that eating more calories at breakfast time, really helps me from over eating in the evening. I think I'm onto something. Shock
