Hi! I'm starting Atkins per my Dr. I'm having success this time. I've tried Atkins in the past by this time is different. I've not had a hard time getting rid of sugar. I am trying to cook more recipes and plan my meals. I'm working full time for the first time in 10 years, hard to be sitting all day. I have a family, who none of them have a weight problem. (Thank goodness!) Love to cook, read, craft~

Just getting started and in need of support and tips
I think both diet plans are great. Just depends on each individual. If you do Atkins by the book, incorporate natural carbs, through fruits and vegetables it is great. You learn how to eat. I've also learned for myself, processed foods are not great for me. I can't control the cravings when I'm eating sugar and processed foods. I would never choose a salad with chicken if there was a donut in the house. lol. So when I get sugar out of my system, I make better choices. I think some people don't have this problem and for them WW is a great choice. Just personal preference....;0)

looking for advice and buddies
I think 10 lbs. is great also. I know it's discouraging when it seems so slow. I do think being successful on Atkins means learning to incorporate Atkins into your life. I've been up and down. I've started at the end of May and I've lost almost 10 lbs. I think I'm just a slow loser. Anyway, I will take a slow loss as opposed to what was happening before I started, which was continual gain even though I was not eating enough to gain. Good Luck!
