I was heavy my whole life. I remember always shopping for clothes in the "big girls" section of Sears, and couldn't understand why my dresses couldn't be handed down to my little sister, that she wouldn't eventually grow into them.
I went on my first official "diet" at age 12, when my friend and I stole her mother's Weight Watchers book.
A short time after graduating college in 2003, at my heaviest weight of 233lbs, I decided to make a change (finally). Since then, I've gone through periods of losing and gaining weight, but never gaining more than lost in the previous series. The lowest I've gotten to is 162 (very briefly). I stabilized at around 167 for a few months, then turned 30 and pounds have started creeping back on. I ordered a drerss for my brother's wedding in October anticipating losing 10 pounds, not gaining, and now that the dress has come in, it won't zip! I've decided to use Fat Secret to get rid of those pounds again to make that dress fit, and work on getting down to my ultimate number of 155.
I'm a super active person. I play roller derby, row crew, participate in a synchronized figure skating team, scuba dive, ski, and attend group fitness classes like a fanatic. If I can keep my eating in check, I'll have no problem dropping the weight in the next 3 months.
