I am retired (66 yrs old) & have gained a large amount of weight since retiring in July 2015. I live alone with a little toy dog. I take a 30 minute walk at least 5 days a week & am calorie counting. I am happy to lose it slowely.
I enjoy knitting especially for my expected granddaughter who arrives in March 2017. I also enjoy reading & tv. Sadly I also enjoy cooking;baking & icecream!! But have cut the last 2 from my list!
I would also love to chat to like minded ladies for mutual support on here

HELP Night hunger
I am struggling with a problem in that no matter how good I eat through the day I always get hungry about 10 at night & can't get to sleep unless I eat something. And snack foods aren't enough. Has anyone got any ideas to help me break this cycle.
My stomach & I await your advice!!!

Razz I restarted my weight loss journey after buying a fitbit 2 weeks ago. What a great motivator!!! I have lost 1.9 Ks since I got it even tho I only started serious excercising 4 days ago!!! I walk 30 minutes daily & try to keep my heart rate at about 110 - 112.
I am also seriously calorie counting using this page as the fitbit is only american foods.
So its onward & upward.
Oh & my wee grand daughter Bethany arrived on Mar 10th & is soooo beautiful. Of course I may be biased!!

having a hard time
I so agree as we get older we have some issues making exercise a bit harder. I am hoping that my walking & calorie counting will help my issues going forward

Horrible cold & wet day today so not able to go for a walk so far. Hope I get out later. I don't mind walking in the cold but not too keen on getting wet!!
