I work with adults with disabilities and feel blessed to have such an amazing job that allows me to see daily how it really is the small things in life!
As well as understanding that just because "you" find it easy doesn't mean that it's easy for "me"(regarding everyone and everything). I personally believe we all have "disability's" some are just easier to see than others.
I have always been the "thin" one in the family, growing up I knew I would always need to be mindful of my weight (seeing the negative feelings my sister's dealt with and not wanting to experience those). Many struggles and bumps along the way, and now at 30 years young I am making this my number one goal to be as healthy as possible!
I try to be realistic (trying to quite my mind's own body image issues) and understanding it's how I feel not a number, size or a comparison to anyone else.
That being said, I have realized that with my goal to lose weight and become as healthy as possible, I really needed to look at the small things in life, the things that have brought me here (in life and this site) working on ONE small goal at a time (easier said than done) and understand why I do them, how can I "tweak" them if it's to hard at this point in time for me to remove it completely.
I love that I get to create my world as I see best for ME! And along the way meeting and learning new things and people to help me toward my goal!
