My name is Gary and I live in central Wisconsin with my wonderful wife and our dog, Mulligan. Back in high school, I was the 100-lb weakling. During the many years since, I've certainly put more weight on and felt I looked and felt my best at about 140-145. Weight has not been a serious issue - I've been up to 163 and recently have hovered around the 150-155 mark. My Dad had diabetes (we lost him on August 20, 2013), I have a brother that is borderline (and overweight) and my grandfather on my Mom's side was diabetic. I don't want to go there and will do what I can to stay fit and avoid any medical or physical difficulties associated with too much weight. I want to be fit, feel fit and be around to enjoy life with my wife who is 10-years younger than me, especially now that I've retired and we think about the next phase of our lives. We were just presented with our ninth grandchild and I'd like to see them grow and develop their individualities. This site and stories/experiences of members are a real incentive to get healthy and stay healthy.
