Hi everyone! I'm a very busy mother of 3 young children - Austin is 3, Dylan is 2, and Jordan is 4 months. I'd like to lose the rest of the baby weight and then some so I can come close to looking like I did before kids. I'm not fooling myself that I'll ever look the same (weight distribution sure has changed!!! LOL), but I'd like to fit into my size 8's again.

I'm doing the South Beach Diet for the 3rd time and it's worked really well before, so I'm excited. Usually in Phase I I drop around 8 pounds and then the weight loss slows in Phase II but I've gotten to my goal both times before. Hopefully it'll be the same this time. And then the real work - getting back into exercise. I had 3 C-sections, so my belly REALLY needs help!

Hope to "meet" some of you here and share our struggles and stories.

Weigh-In after Eating Late
I normally eat dinner much earlier than 8PM or after, but last night I didn't get around to it until then. It was a McDonald's grilled chicken ceasar, so it wasn't unhealthy, but my question is whether that will add 1/2 pound or so to my morning weigh-in? I know it sounds obsessive, but what do you think? I know eating a really salty meal late will cause your weight to be a bit heavier the next AM. Should I wait 'till tomorrow after I've had dinner at a normal time?

South Beach Diet & Shaky (?)
Hi all! I'm on my 3rd day of Phase I of the SBD. I'm "borderline" hypoglycemic and I've been noticing that I'm feeling that weird shaky feeling sometimes. I HATE IT. What's up with that? I thought this diet was supposed to help it (?) Crying or Very sad
