Bad Foods
Depends on the fruit. Grapes are probably the worst...berries are good for you, as well as apples..the fiber in the fruit allows it to be digested much slower than fruit juice, so it is much better for you. Also, there are alot of antioxidants in berries...try to stay away from bananas too.

A New Runner needs Help with her Shin splint!!!
Stretching the tibialis anterior and strengthening it will help get rid of shin splints. Sometimes part of the cause is a muscular imbalance between the gastrocnemius(calf) and the tibialis(front of shin) Also, find a therapist who does A.R.T. This therapy can also rid you of shin splints and many other muscular issues.
