hi, my name is dana and i have been a dieter all of my life. (WOW! that sounds so "anonymous meeting") nothing worked without the will power or the motivation. i think i really have it now tho!
i have been married for 12 years, and have 5 kids, miranda,17, reyna,14, damien,10, cia,9, and xavier 1. i am also about to be a grandmother (miranda's pregnant)...so i have all the more determination to get healthy...another baby to keep up with!
i have always wanted to be skinny, look good in swimwear, etc...but upon turning post 30, i have realized that i am a lot closer to 40 than ever, and only getting closer. i decided that i dont want to be one of those people that talk about the heart attack they had at 38, 39, or 42.
i am now on a mission to undo the damage i have done to my own body with food, and reteach proper eating habits to my children. we are all beginning on the weight watchers diet plan because it is really easy to follow, and knowing that you really can eat ANYTHING, feels like you aren't strapped down, that you have choices, and weight watchers is going to teach you better ones that will become habits and stay with you for years to come.
i hope that i have as much luck and stamina as many of the profiles i have browsed today. i congratulate those of you that have lost ANY weight, it is a feat in itself, and i look forward to meeting many new people who can inspire me, and maybe i can do the same for!!!
