I am married with 4 kids, 3 1/2 cats, and various small pets. I feel better when I make healthy choices, but my willpower is lacking and my family would rather keep the junk food. Some days are good and others I could do better! I love this website and the people that take time to encourage and give advice and tips. We could all use positive feedback and instruction from time to time and this is a perfect place to do just that. Live, learn and move it.

Circuit training
Well, the guy came and had me doing push ups and sit-ups and things with resistance bands and planks and stuff like that. No running but I had to do burpees...which had us both laughing! I enjoy walking and exerbike and treadmill in winter. Thanks for the feedback. It's always great to hear different perspectives!

Circuit training
Just finished a workout with a personal trainer. I grunted and groaned and laughed throughout the session. I feel so much better about what I accomplished and identified areas for improvement. I actually feel like I could go run around the block with euphoria, but I think I'll pass this time. Hhaaaa there's always next time. Feeling good!Rolling Eyes

Cool weather & spicy chili
I just finished making a batch of spicy chili. I even snuck in a finely diced zucchini. I love cooler weather and hot soups and teas! Yay! Let's all celebrate Fall! Brisk walks and leaf raking help burn those calories.

Having your "Monthlies" makes you eat more? Fact or fiction?
Yep! Too true!! Just say no and drink lots of variety of flavored water to help flush system. I am starting the day with green tea and a few drops of coconut flavoring. Yum! Hope this helps!
