I am currently reversing a diabetic diagnosis (I personally believe I am insulin resistant not diabetic) with diet, exercise, and intermittent fasting based on a book called "The Obesity Code" (a fantastic read). My original sugars were 437 mg/dL, and I got them down to 106 mg/dL in two (2) weeks with this plan. My ninety (90) day average is 116 mg/dL. My physician wanted to put me on a couple of medications, but I asked to continue with the progress I was achieving. I quit sugar, breads, rice, and pasta. I have lost 8 lb.s in two (2) weeks. The biggest part of my progress has been becoming more aware of what I eat, where I wasn't aware before. I believe this website will be a great addition to my goals.
