One week on Atkins and I'm looking for a diet buddy
I'm 35 with hubby and 3 kids and looking now for a diet buddy!

I'm an Atkins virgin and been on induction for only a week so far. Lost 4 pounds last week but would like someone that I can discuss Atkins with to help me along the way.

Many thanks, Emma xSmile

insanity
Hi, I am also into my first week of insanity and looking at the diet recipes they provide are a little too much for me so I'm glad to see that Derek has provided with the balance we need as I did wonder about the carbs. So from now on I will try and keep my diet to 40% Carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat.
I have to say I am loving the DVD's, they are amazing and I feel wonderful after I have done them (more so because I have just about managed to get through them)so it would be great if we could buddy up to compare notes?

Regards Emma

Anybody doing Insanity???
Is insanity the fitness DVDs? I saw them advertised on a telescoping programme but just thought it was yet another fitness regime that is oversold. Does it really give you results in 60 days?

Vibration plates
Hey,

I think they are a waste of time myself. I went for an induction and was really disappointed with them. I know personally I would have been bored after two sessions and even with doing exercise on them they are limited. If its pure toning you want then they would be ok but for quicker results hit classes or gym. Spinning classes are all the Rage here and burn over 500 calories in each session and tones too xx

Advice please - Ex Cambridge dieter
Hi Chris,
Thank you for taking time out to analise my diet. I have also seeked advice from a cambridge councellor and they have also confirmed its glycogen so I'm not going to panic and stick with my 1300 calorie diet.

Would you please help me to understand where I am going wrong on my FAT/CARBS AND PROTEIN? What should I be doing different? This sort of dieting is so new to me and if I'm ever go to change my lifestyle for the future then I need to understand.

Many Thanks

Emma
