My life has changed substantially in the last months. I don't have the appetite I once had, and I have taken up the new sport of road biking, and I absolutely love it. I like to do yoga on a regular basis as well. I've yet to get into weight training the way I know I should. I've reassessed my weight goal, and think I'd like to lose another 10 lbs or so.

I am retired, so I have a lot of things to chose from in my future. I've thought about taking flying lessons which is something I've always wanted to do, or who knows? Maybe even doing some volunteer work in some exotic place like Africa.

My sons are both in the restaurant business (my son is the one with me in the profile photo), so being around great food is very easy for me. Thankfully I don't eat at the restaurants often. I'm not on a diet per say at the moment, but eating around 1000 to 1200 calories a day most of the time.

I agree with those who choose Stevia or Truvia (which is just another name for Stevia). I use it to sweeten my plain yogurt and fruit in the morning.

Planning Ahead
Sometimes I am away from the internet for several days. I try to plan my meals ahead but the interface on fatsecret makes it very difficult to do this. For example if I want to plan a dinner 2 or 3 days ahead from my cookbook, the interface only lets me enter it today or tomorrow. Same with favorite meals. The main page when you go ahead a few days lists like 4 favorite meals, but when you access the full interface it kicks you back to only being able to enter them today or tomorrow. Does anyone know a work around for this???

Do you eat differently when you're sick?
I like to eat chicken soup, and drink green teas. Hot things usually when I have a cold. If I have a fever, then I usually don't like much of anything.

What to do???
I always liked wine spritzers. A dry white wine is about 80 calories per 4 ounces. Soda, none. You can either do one drink with 4 oz topped with soda and ice, or do two dividing up the wine.
