My name is Elaine I'm 5'2" and current weight is 194.5 lbs. I work as an RN. I have been this heavy for the last 2 years. I gained weight slowly. As I look back it started when I started the nursing program I became more sedentary, ate a lot of fast food because it was quick. I have weighed between 115-125 1bs most of my life then would gain a litte here and a little there starting six years ago. I believe I have come to the point where I'm tired of being obese. 1 year ago I hurt my back at the age of 32 and had to have surgery. Every since I am judged by the Dr.'s that I see they are not sensitive to my weight in the least. The first thing I always here is "You need to lose weight or you are going to have back trouble your whole life." To me the answer is not that simple and if they don't think I know I'm over weight they are very wrong. Any one who is obese or overweight knows they are obese or overweight and they know they need to lose weight they just need the right motivation. Myself I'm just fed up with being this heavy and my uncle had his first heart attack at the age of 37. That scares me. There for here I am and love it. I have to say two days into it and just getting out and walking and home work out feels great. Wish me luck.
