I have always been pretty active and a normal body size. In the past 5 years i've been gaining weight and having a hard time losing. I've never had to deal with any weight issues so have had a hard time finding what works. I'm not necessary overweight, but feeling uncomfortable with the pounds I've gained. I basically want my normal body size back.

How to run for a non-runner
I have recently started to run as well. I take my dog with me and do a run/walk, hoping to slowly build up to a steady run. Its a good work out for him and gives me a partner. I have to say that it is killing my knees, to the point where I have a hard time working out the next day. I think I’m going back to the treadmill for running and just fast walking out doors. I am a big fan of the elliptical. It’s a great workout and not a lot of stress on the joints. PS, I never had knee pain till I started running.

Weightwatchers
Wish they would add a section where at most you could put in your own point calculations. At least you had a place you could track it. Now you have to use this app, plus track it on your own. Don't think that would be against WW, if the person added the value on their own and the system just saved it.
