how can I boost my metabolism and decrease my body's resistance?
Lower calories and/or increase activity. There is no trick. Weigh all foods and be honest with every bite. It's a simple matter of calories in vs. calories out. No gimmicks, no ridiculous starvation mode.

I just converted your weight to lbs. 122lbs. is light enough unless you're uder 5 feet. I suggest eating at maintenance and incorporating resistance training to add lean mass. Doing cardio alone can make you just look soft which can be a reason for your body image issues. Resistance training will add shape.

Do some resistance training. Eat at a 500-1000 calorie deficit. Don't exceed that by too much. You need the nutrients.
