Time for a bio update -
July 2015 - I am so glad to see I kept off some of my original weight when I began here in June 2010. I almost forgot I was that weight. 187 was not my heaviest ever - yep 5'3" lil ole me was once 199. But that was 2003/2004.
So I am back trying to log food & workouts, being accountable to my computer and various other supportive people here.
Lol - I am still a 40 something, what changed? Divorce last year, my choice, caregiver for my Mum last year & an illness brought on by a wasp sting and multiple medications contributing to weight gain have brought me back. I know what smaller and healthier feel like and I must have it back. Smaller clothes help too - I will admit I really liked being smaller and the advantages that came along with it.
(Date June 2010 I'm a 40 something woman who is tired of the diet merry-go-round. I have been on and off diets for more than half my life. I had an eating disorder in my teens & early 20's. While I haven't crash dieted for more than 10 years that doesn't mean I gave up trying to lose the same 20-30 pounds which is now 45 -60!!!! Now its the last 15 or so that I have to lose. Different plans - different exercises - they were all supposed to get me there, well this is it --- no funky food, shots or pills. Lifestyle change!!! Here I come.....tough to lose the last 10 or 15, hmmmmmmm - onward ho!!)
