I'm 44 and fat. I want to be 44 and fab.
I have a new 4 month old baby and I want to stay fit and be around for him. I hope to get down to the single digit bodyfat percentages so I can finally see my abs. I haven't seen them since I was in my mid 20's.

I'm tracking my progress on youtube also.

I am starting out with fatsecrets at 29% body fat. :(

2 pounds of fat loss in a week is a good rate. You can't compare yourself to others or show like biggest looser, where the are monitored constantly and workout 6-8 hours a day.
Just think how long it took you to put on the weight and look at your goal in the long term. Smile

Me and my friend placed a bet
Looks like mixed reviews on coffee buy the community.
If you can't live without it then by all means have it. Just drink an extra glass of water to deal with the diuretic properties of coffee.
Cut back to 1-2 cups per day.
Reduce the amount of sugar and cream that you put in it.
Do an extra ten minutes of cardio and your all set.

Dieting at work
Jack in the box has this Grilled Fajita Chicken Pita that is low in calories.
Google "low calorie fast food" and you can find some really good sites for making good choices when eating out.

favorite salad dressing?
I love Kraft Asian Toasted Sesame.
2 Tablespoons is 6 grams fat 8 grams Carbs and 90 Calories.

Great stuff and I never get tired of it.

My Progress on Youtube

I started out at 212 lbs and am down to 200 now. Smile
