Going alright so far. I've been good and I've lost some weight already. =] That makes me really happy. However, with each passing day, I find myself daydreaming about pizza and biscuits. I get bored with the taste of meat and cheese easily, so I'm looking into way more variety as far as vegetables. I've been getting most carbs from those by way of mushrooms, celery, and salad. Asparagus, usually bitter to me, tasted delicious yesterday.

I did however, rock some self control when we met my sister for dinner the other night. We went for mexican food, and mine didn't say so in the menu, but it came with rice. A nice big bed of spanish rice under my chicken and cheese. And I made sure to not eat a single grain. Go me!

I can't wait for induction to be over. I'm hoping my craving for carbs will go away. It's not really the carb that I want. It's the mouthfeel of having something that feels soft and sinkable. That plush feeling of biting into a fresh, fluffy biscuit from Red Lobster, or the sink of your teeth into a loaded pizza from Dominos... or even the crusty crunchy feeling of biting into a big slice of garlic toast. I could really care less about actually eating the thing. I just want to feel it. Oh well. It'll be a treat once I finally lose the weight I want to.
