Slow but steady wins the race. Oh but I wish I could take it off as fast as I put it on! Dream on! Right now I am fighting for every pound, but every pound is worth the fight. Not doing anything heroic as far as dieting; I just feel like I’m not living to eat anymore. And when I do eat, I find myself weighing the consequence of every indulgence; and more times than not, I am choosing the healthier of my options. Hang in there everyone; this is not “mission impossible,” but it ’s not easy. I suppose the more difficult it is, the more I’ll remember how difficult it was to take it off - each time I consider binging. Just rambling on, convincing myself, if nothing else. Toodles!

Finally! I was thinking about getting another scale because this one wasn’t moving. :) I was so happy to see some progress this morning - especially after having given into some peanut butter and crackers cravings late last night. I have broken the 40 lb. barrier! Yay! I hope you all have a blessed day. Toodles!

I was hoping to have better news by now, but oh well, at least I’m hovering and not climbing. After about a week and a half of steady rains, it looks like we are in for a hot dry spell. I hope everyone is doing great. Weight loss is kind of like watching grass grow; you don’t see it happening and then the next thing you know, you have to tighten your belt a notch. Toodles!

Fresh pork loin chop, green, yellow and red peppers, onions, and black beans. Surprisingly tasty! I hope all of the fathers and father figures had a wonderful Father’s Day. If you have been a good role model to someone, God bless you; we need more of you! Toodles!
