We are all out camping for the holiday weekend. The 3 day weekend really allows for the relaxation to set in much better. There's about 80 slots here but with the way it's laid out it relatively serene and quiet. I hate packed campgrounds where you are made to feel like sardines. What's the point of getting out and away if camping becomes it's own rat race. Of course with so many 300k and above motorhomes there's some that take the camping rat race seriously.

Still loving my dinner feasting diet. There's never a day I feel deprived or worry about falling off the wagon. So I'm putting on my pilgrim pants and heading out again today to kick ass.

I might have to modify a bit today with so much family coming by for lunch. One thing that is also a part on this new plan is to focus on social eating. On most days there's nothing social about breakfast or lunch, but on Saturdays and holidays there is a feast so to speak, and frankly it's much nicer to not have to skimp when everybody has gone to so much effort with their dishes.

I think slowed down social feasting is something pushed to the side in America. I do think we need to be mindful of developing a better culture of eating. I hold out getting food in wrappers from windows while in our cars as probably the ultimate expression of our anti-social instant gratification culture. Regardless of my weight in the future I pledge to make getting food from windows a rare experience. Now you may see what appears to be fast food in my diet calender, but as of late that is just because I need something to approximate my calories. I'm pretty sure I've not been to fast food in the last month or longer.
