Starting The You on A Diet lifestyle approach to eating better and taking better care of my body. Found this site by accident before finishing the book. Not 100% what to expect from the site but Hope to utilize it as a tool to aid me in changing my eating habits.

I've experienced some positive changes already from the dietary suggestions and from walking 30 minutes daily (eating a handful of walnuts throughout day to curb hunger between meals; taking multi vitamin). My skin has cleared up and gotten less oily and I feel better in general, So Far. I have high hopes for this program.

Sleep & Health Go Hand in Hand
My six year old use to go to bed at 9:30 pm, until he started school this fall. He is required to be at school NLT 7:50am in his seat. My wife and I try to get him down by 7:30pm each night (seemed way early to us at first too) and once you get this routine down it's amazing having those couple of hours to watch adult programs, instead of cartoons, and still get to bed by 9:00pm (we get up at 6:30); not as brutal as 4:45am.

You On A Diet Newbie (eating nuts and walking 30 minutes a day.)
Still haven't finished the last part of the book. I t has been tremendously effective
at ruining me from ever wanting to eat anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup in it and I must say, knowing how everything impacts my body ( i.e. HFCS is pretty much toxic and causes inflammation in my omentum etc.) has been helpful in controlling my more impulsive eating binges and dramatically cut back my french fry intake (to zereo).

I've already noticed a difference in my skin texture. It seems clearer and less greasy. Although my pants don't yet fit me better and I'm not certain what I might
have lost in terms of weight (haven't officially started the diet just following the guidelines), I feel better from the walking and my stomach feels less "flabby" if that makes sense to anyone reading (maybe someone who has experienced the "you on a diet"Wink.

Not sure What to expect of this site. It seems it may be more scale centric than the reading suggest for "you on a Diet"; However, as I have never been one to completely "drink the Koolaide" so to speak I am ok with tracking my weight on a scale
with the expectation that it will be slow an steady.
