I'm 44 years old, married and have a beautiful 8 year old daughter. The three of us live in Panama City, FL. In 2007/2008 I lost 60 pounds and weighed in at 205 lbs. I then let myself go and weighed in at 312 pounds December of 2011 and probably was up to at least 320 at one point. I got weak and had no drive to get back into it.

I finally took charge of my life and now "EAT TO LIVE" not "LIVE TO EAT".

My goals:
#1 is to weigh in at 245 by June 1st.
#2 199 pounds by the end of 2012.
#3 Have 6 pack abs on my 46 birthday (09/08/2013)

I'm looking for online buddies for motivation and share your success stories with me. Any ideas and tips will be appreciated.

A *seemingly* unimportant victory......
Great job! My daughter hugged me the other day and said "Daddy I can put my arms all the way around you now" that was a great feeling.

I have a leather belt that has unlimited loop holes so I also like to see how much extra leather is around my waist. I guess I need to get a new one soon. Smile

Do I Really Burn That Much?
Very nice find thanks for the link. It has me at 3000 calories to maintain, 2400 for weight loss and 2032 for extreme weight loss. I've been maintaining 2000 calories so that makes sense to me.

Feeling like a failure...
Agree we ALL have bad days I've had many myself. I make sure to eat a healthy breakfast the next day and get right back to my routine and forget about yesterday. Don't eat less today because of your mistakes it will make you hungry and eat more.

Body Cleansing
I just saw a show on the 'Rule of Three'.
That hard to be tough doing that. Is it safe and recommended by doctors?

Three minutes without air (not holding you breath but being deprived of fresh air)
Three days without water
Three weeks without food

I also did the Mater Cleanse several years ago. After 3 days I was bouncing off walls with energy, after one week I didn't crave any foods. I did it for 30 days lost 46 pounds and 4 months later I was 60 pounds heavier. Sad
