Hi I’m 33 years old with three beautiful children age 4, 2 and 8 1/2 months. I also have given up smoking and work from home running our building business. Over the years I have put on weight threw many HUGE lifestyle changes (eg parents divorce, moving to new country, having children and the list goes on...) I have tried almost every diet out there and have always failed, So I decided to give Atkins ago and I am so glad I found this site and the people on it

Don't worry I am the same I weigh myself 2 to 4 a times a day, but I only record every monday morning when I wake up

Depressing comment.
I know how you feel, my 4 year old was calling me a big fat meanie all the time and it is not nice to hear those words especially from your children.
I also dont think you should worry about your calorie intake as long as your hitting your net carbs and as much protien to get you in ketosis you'll be fine. good luck
