performance: gaining 0.6 lb a week
I'm the Mom of three kids ages 4, 6 and 9 and a full-time Montessori teacher. I have always struggled with my weight - highest being 193lbs (I'm 5'8") and lowest being 128lbs (very skinny late teens). Wedding weight was 145lbs which looked good on me. After three kids my weight settled in at around 177lbs for a few years but I got to work two years ago prior to a beach vacation with friends and got down to 154lbs. I managed to hold at around 158lbs after vacation and up until a couple of months ago, when the return to full-time work seems to have helped me to edge up the scale to 166.5lbs. I just don't want to go back to the place where my weight is an issue for me in every circumstance. I like not even thinking about my weight. So I'm putting my foot down now, before the gradual increase in weight finds me back at seriously hating how I look. Life's too short to spend all day worried about what to wear to hide the weight, where it's ok to go feeling fat and what I'm going to stuff in my mouth next. This time I'd like to get the almost 10lbs off that I've put on since August and also knock another 10lbs down to get to where I'm really happy with my weight. Oh, and I'm originally from Ireland!
