Hi, I am in Dallas, TX, and struggling with weight loss, as are many of you. I have Psoriatic Arthritis and there are times I don't want to move, even though exercise is supposed to help with the disorder. Medications I have taken have caused me to balloon up and I have got to lose the weight. I have no clothes! And I have such cute clothes in a 10, or 12, or 14!

Actually I think there is an inverse correlation between omega-3 intake & depression. I remember seeing something about it in Michael Pollan's book In Defense of Food. If you're not eating much fish or taking fish oil supplements, you could be short on omega-3s.

Besides the positive health benefits, fish oil can improve mood, according to a study at UT Southwestern Medical Center. 6000 mg of fish oil was what they found to be an effective dose to help with moderate depression. Take with food to help with any side effects.
