Today is 8/24/15 - I am 1/2 way into my 3rd round of HCG. First and second were in 2013. I am excited to be loosing again after loosing my Dad in 2014, almost a year ago now. I gained about 20 lbs back. So this time I am reading about Sugar Addiction and Detox from Junk food. Hope this works long term.

Today 1/12/14. I have committed to being healthy. I lot 40 lbs since July but need to loose about 10 more. I am stuck going up a pound and down a pound. Frustrating but I am trying juicing as a way of adding more nutrition into my life. I am religiously going to my gym 3 days a week and making an effort to be more active on the weekends even though this cold and rainy weather makes it hard. I go to the doc for blood tests soon and hope my bloodworm shows improvement. I have a better outlook on life since getting into health mode!!!!

First bio when I joined. I am a kept women. I do volunteer work, play handbells, love to sing, keep house and keep up with our finances. I have lost interest in cooking, but enjoy eating out. That I am sure is my downfall!! I will strive to bring more food home from the restaurant and order healthy meals when possible.

The weight thing is displaying incorrectly. I've lost a total of 38 ls since July 13, and my goal is 175, but just can't seem to get there. The closest I have gotten is 183, for a couple of days........Mad

iPad issues
Anyone know why my weight graph will not display on my iPad 2 on the website? It does display within the app. But some features on the site are not doable on the app so I have to go back and forth at times. Bad Grin

Why do people eat high protein diets?
Protein satisfies your hunger much longer. Most carbs turn directly to sugar. i.e. anything white, sugar, flour, potatoes pasta all raise your insulin levels. I notice when I eat mostly carbs for breakfast I am starving way before lunch. When I have eggs, bacon, etc I can last till mid afternoon if need be. But the best thing is to eat about 6 times a day.Don't starve yourself.
