Hi, I'm Charliet.
I quit smoking cigs on Nov. 7th, 07 and rapidly gained about 15lbs. I was already overweight at the time So, I started dieting with South beach but really missed the carbs and didn't do very well. Actually continued to gain after a small loss at the beginning. I joined Weight Watchers on March 4th this year and have had steady success there. I don't loose every week but have averaged slightly over 2 pounds a week for 6 weeks for a total loss of 12.8 lbs in 6 weeks. I'm eating pretty much what I want and am following the Core plan. I figure " slow and steady wins the race ". I never miss my weekly weigh in and meeting. The accountability and commitment are important to me.
