A bio, huh? Well, this won't be terribly exciting.
Just an average guy. Recently turned 40. About a month ago (say, July 2011), I had a rather large "uh-oh" moment when I saw myself in a photo a friend took. Having found my appearance to be rather repulsive, I resolved to finally get my butt in gear and do something about it.
Discovered the Android app first, as I was searching for something to track my eating habits. From there, I naturally found the main site.
In August 2011, I began my efforts in earnest. I've been tracking everything I eat, and started some basic exercise efforts to help boost the metabolism and add a bit of strength that's been lost over the years.
I'm hoping to be in a lot better shape before Valentine's Day, 2012, so that any pictures taken of my fiance and I won't leave me feeling disgusted. I think I can do it this time.
Intermediate targets (and dates achieved, as I get there):
199 - This is a big one. Lose the 2 at the beginning. (9/21/2011)
190 - Halloween? (10/15/2011)
180 - Hopefully before Christmas.
170 - Home stretch
165 - Start planning the celebration!
