performance: losing 0.8 lb a week
I'm a 41 year old mother, wife, aunt, sister, teacher, etc. I'm making this life more about ME ach and every year. Ususally in July I start something new 2 years ago I cut off all my hair and went natural (no relaxer) Last year I begain preparing for a 5K (I jogged/walked a triple crown in May 2012 5k, 10, 10 mile). This year I had grand plans but my sister got herself into major trouble and my husband and I took in her infant son. Starting all over looking for time for me :-( My youngest is almost 9 YEARS old no babies now we're changing pamers, car seats, money issues, etc. ANYWAY, determined to do something for me I started a vegan diet on July 1st. I have done well so far but I told myself it was just a 21-day challenge. I haven't decided what I REALLY going to do on the 21st day. However, I'm also going to lose this excess weight before my next birthday in May 2013 if not sooner. So that's me and my reasons for being here in a nutshell.
