I never know what to say in these things. I love food, good food, not junk. Funny when you're fat people assume you eat lots of fast food and processed snacks. I've had my moments, but I must attribute a large part of this round of large butt to brie cheese, wine and just good food. Sometimes, of course, I've enjoyed "junk" classics like M&Ms, Twinkies or fast food burgers and fries.
I've been using FatSecret on my Blackberry, as well as upping the activity as much as possible. Having a depression issue, some days even walking the dogs is just more than I care to think about and yes, that is about as lame as it gets. Other days, it's let's go! So, I've already lost some weight. I'm not sure really how much. I weighed in fully dressed excepting shoes at the doctor's on May 13 at 229. When I started FatSecret mobile, after my period and about a week and a half later, I weighed in at home at 219 it's now down to about 215.5 according to my cheapie scale. Clothing is getting looser and I feel a little better - partly I'm sure because I love seeing the low cal tally on a huge mess of fruits and veggies.
Anyway, my inspiration is fun. We're planning on taking a trip down to Mexico in the fall as it's discounted as a perk of my second job. I'm not so concerned about looking hot in a swimsuit...I'm nearly 50 after all, but I am concerned about being able to enjoy an adventure activity like ziplining. As a young gal, and then in my mid-thirties up to 40 or so, I was pretty spunky with biking, hiking, rock climbing, weights. (In between times I had my first round of large butt.) I develop strength rapidly, so once a good chunk of weight is off it won't be hard to shape up the core to be spunkyish again.
